IECEP Davao to host National Convention

IECEP Davao Chapter will host this year's National Convention from December 4-6, 2008 at the Grand Men Seng Hotel, Davao City. This was revealed during the Mid-Year IECEP membership meeting on July 24 at the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Headquarters in Quezon City. 

The theme of the December convention is "Electronics Technology: Tool for Global Weather Watch".

The Convention Highlights are as follows:

• Electronics GIZMO

Seminar topics are proposed to include the following:

1. Weather Radar / Doppler
2. Marine Navigational Aids
3. Global Warming
4. GMDSS
5. AVIONICS
6. ROBOTICS
7. Instrumentation and Controls
8. RFID
9. Thermal Imaging among others

All IECEP Professionals are invited to attend the scheduled convention. Attendees are expected to earn 24 CPE points from the Convention.

Registration is pegged at not less than Php2000 and yet to be confirmed by the organizers, IECEP Davao.
